Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane

It all began in 1969 with Mo Siegel and wild herbs that he himself plucked from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and concocted tea out of them .

Later on he then sold Mo's 36 and 24 herbal teas to a number of Health Food stores within the area in muslin-bags sewn by hand.

Then in the year 1972 Celestial Seasoning's flagship blends was launched being their Red Zinger and Sleepy time.

Now Celestial Seasoning's distributes more than 1.6 billion cups of tea a year and their line has grown including but not limited to chai tea, rooibos tea, wellness tea, Cool Brew iced tea and green tea with over 100 ingredients that are originated from over 35 countries.

There's nothing more relaxing than curling up with a good book on a cold Winter night with a piping hot cup of Celestial Seasoning's Holiday Tea in Candy Cane Lane that offers a cool minty sensation of peppermint, intertwined with a nice burst of orange zest, warm cinnamon, milk thistle, blackberry leaves, roasted carob, roasted chicory and creamy vanilla bean.

Brewing Instructions:

  1. Heat up fresh filtered water until it's very hot but not to a boil
Did you know that green tea tastes better when it's made with cooler water?

2. Steep one cup of water over the tea bag in a cup then steep for a total of two minutes and remove the bag

3. Sweeten as you'd like and enjoy!

4. Candy Cane Lane Holiday Tea can also be enjoyed iced if you pour 2 cups of stifling hot water over a total of 4 tea bags in a pitcher that is heat resistant  and prepare as above, then add 2 cups of cold water and serve over ice!

Even though that the Holiday season is over it's still Winter and very chilly especially since we've just had our first snow fall! Candy Cane Lane Celestial Seasoning's tea sample couldn't have arrived at a better time to warm me up on a cold Winter's night it was the perfect way to recuperate after a long week it offered the perfect balance of cool peppermint along with the burst of orange peel, warm touch of cinnamon and slight creaminess of vanilla!
