It all began with Annabelle born and raised in the Southern California Countryside where she raised her four hungry boys and realized that extracted starches that are found in most gluten and grain free foods are known to not only raise blood sugar but cause weight gain as well.

When it comes to Real Bread by California Country Gal their Grain Free Breads and baking mixes are in fact known as Starch Belly Free because they contain real ingredients without any extracted starches or sugar such as arrowroot, tapioca which is from cassava, rice, potato and or corn. 

Real Bread By California Country Gal are free from Sugar, Dairy , yeast and soy they are even low in carbs, plus they are Paleo-Friendly which is wonderful for those of you who are on the Paleo Diet like myself !

I have tried California Country Gal sandwich bread and cinnamon rolls before and they are amazing they give that fluffy like texture of real bread without all the bad stuff not to mention they taste great and make extraordinary sandwiches! Don't get me started on the cinnamon rolls they were sweet, decadent and the perfect breakfast food! 

Just recently I was sent the Rustic Real Bread By California Country Gal that I won through Facebook and couldn't wait to try it out and it couldn't have arrived at a better time since I just ran out of bread! 

 I love that the Real Bread mixes by California Country Gal are made with real ingredients and they offer both texture and flavor that is unbelievable not to mention they are easy to whip up ! 

With the Rustic Bread you can shape into two loaves spreading them onto a cookie sheet or bake in a bread pan which I did because I'm a sucker for sandwiches and who doesn't love a good sandwich piled high with endless possibilities from vegetables, cheeses, meats and so much more !
I was amazed at how beautifully the Rustic Bread came out it was fluffy in texture and when toasted it gave a nice crispy crunchy crust on the outside and made one impeccable steak and cheese sandwich with avocado , lettuce, pickles, Dairy Free Cheese and a touch of Primal Kitchen Mayo! 
Ever since I have tried Real Bread By California Country Gal baking mixes I was sold! Their breads are amazing I love the fact they are made with limited ingredients and offer the same texture as real bread but only healthier and more delicious! 

 When the Rustic Bread was baking away in the oven it resembled the aroma of Italian bread and I couldn't wait to sink my teeth in it of course after it had time to cool off a bit though. The Rustic bread is the perfect side to any meal whether it be soup, salad, meatballs or sandwiches ! It's even great paired with your favorite wine, cheese, or fruit! The Rustic bread can be made into baguettes which would be the perfect sub sandwich piled high with salami, roast beef, ham, pepperoni and so much more!
