Meredith's Bread

It all began in the year 1987 with Meredith's County Bakery with the Allen family where they started baking all sorts of baked goods from pies, cookies, cakes, rolls and breads without any preservatives by hand.

The Allen family started out small with a total of 10 products and then expanded their product line later on with over 180 different styles of baked goods including ones that are free of wheat, sugar, and gluten made with the finest of organic ingredients.

Each Meredith's Bread product is made simply with love by hand with the finest of ingredients that provide both great texture and flavor in breads, cookies, pies and much more where you can find at over 44 Farmer's Markets during peek seasons!

There's something that I love about baked goods from the warm delicious smells wafting through the air from moist muffins, savory breads and chewy cookies that melt into your mouth with each bite!

I came across Meredith's Bread company online and their baked goods caught my eye!

I love that each and every baked good is made with simple ingredients at the peek of freshness made to order by hand in a wide variety ranging from tarts, muffins, breads, cookies and so much more!

I was provided with samples of Meredith's products to taste and here is what I received to facilitate this review!

Pumpkin Muffin:
Made with brown rice flour, sugar, NYS Pumpkin Puree, canola oil, eggs, potato starch, Baking Soda, Sea Salt, Nutmeg, and cinnamon

Think pumpkin pie but in the form of a muffin bursting with the flavors of Fall in each bite perfectly seasoned with nutmeg and cinnamon. This muffin was insanely good it offered the perfect sweet to savory ratio creating one moist muffin!

Rosemary Olive Bread:

Made with Teff Flour, Sorghum Flour, Oat Flour, Sunflower Seed Flour, Sweet Rice Flour, Kalamata Olives, Chia Seeds, Psyllium Husk , Olive Oil, Honey, Dry Yeast, Rosemary, and Sea Salt

I love olives whether on pizza in a salad or in breads and really wanted to like this bread it provided great texture it was thick and soft providing the perfect bread for sandwiches. When I first tried the rosemary olive bread I wasn't too keen on the flavor made here with tuna fish, sliced cucumber and onions seasoned with black pepper but ended up acquiring my palette with all sorts of delicious creations like with turkey, eggs, bacon and much more! The flavor was pungent from the unique blend of herbs and spices with the salty kalamata olives in each fluffy bite !

I loved making all kinds of sandwiches with the rosemary olive bread the flavors were unique and the pumpkin muffin was so moist, fluffy, savory, with a touch of sweetness and made the perfect breakfast to start the day!
