It all began with a demand with Blake founder of Blake's Seed Based while growing up with a severe nut allergy being careful when it came to eating safe yet healthy foods. Blake was attentive against probable exposure which he spent hours perusing the snack aisle for not only a safe food but healthy and that tasted great too. He wound up empty handed in the nutritious snack department and decided to create his very own bar that would be a safer option for allergy sufferers to live a care free life. Blake tried recipe after recipe and bar after bar until he got it just right resulting in a healthy , delicious and satiating solution which is how Blake's Seed Based Bars was born! It all began with Liz Barrett Founder of Barrett's Garden Foods which is a dairy-free alternative cheese company that is made in a dedicated dairy-free, gluten-free vegan kitchen on Hope and Main located in Warren, Rhode Island.  Barrett's Garden cheeses made in small batches by hand with  non-GMO ingredients and always fresh.  I had the pleasure of not only meeting Liz Barrett Saturday at the Coastal Grower's Farmers Market located on Casey Farm in Saunderstown , Rhode Island but tried out her delicious cashew based Farmesan Cheese which was amazing and here is the shocker I kid you not that it tastes just like Parmesan Cheese you know the kind that you sprinkle on pasta dishes? Yeah that kind it crumbles like it and tastes like it too!  As soon as I tried the Farmesan cheese I was hooked so I bought myself a container.
