I don't know about you but mine is water because not only does it rehydrate me after an intense workout it also is refreshing. Seriously though have you ever thought about how much plastic water bottles we toss in the trash each day? How many of us actually refill the bottle after we use it the first time? Once you refill the water bottle it tastes disgusting and has a plastic like taste to i

One of the most important things to remember when you workout is that you must have something after with some form of protein in it. If you go from the gym to work like I do you'll need to make sure you get your dose of protein after your workout. I love to indulge a bit when I'm craving something sweet, but these bites help me stay on track and they are the perfect size!  Here are my delightful thoughts on them below! Dreamy coconut: I absolutely love coconut flavored foods but when it's mixed with chocolate it's so much better! I couldn't wait to try this dreamy bite of coconut and chocolate! It was love at first bite! To me it tasted like my favorite Girl Scout cookie the Samoa!  Caramel pretzel bliss: Salty pretzel pieces with a crunch covered in creamy caramel!  What I loved about these bites is that they taste great and worked when I had a craving for something sweet but didn't want to overindulge.  My favorite bite was the cream

Hampton Creek Just Mayo Review!

Image
When it comes to sandwich condiments what's your favorite? As a child I loved good old fashion mayonnaise slathered on delicious breads with the works such as turkey, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Since I've changed my eating ways a lot I hardly ever eat it, but I can't resist at times it's just so good but so bad for you! I've tried all different kinds of mayonnaise brands and some tasted to sweet, too eggy and just gross but when I came across Hampton Creek just mayo online I just had to try it! Here's what it's made of: Non-GMO Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil, Filtered Water, Lemon Juice, White Vinegar, 2% or less of the following: Organic Sugar, Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, Pea Protein, Spices, Garlic, Modified Food Starch, Beta-Carotene. It contains none of the bad stuff and I've read the reviews on the website from other consumers and they loved it and preferred it over other brands so I had to see what the hype was all about over this product!

Tastymakes review!

Image
Founder of Tastymakes Melissa Lacitignola knows firsthand that eating healthy foods can save your life. On September 28, 2009 riding her bike home from work she was struck by an SUV. Thankfully her helmet saved her life. After her accident she started a plant based alkaline raw food diet that strengthened her quality of life.  Doctors thought that's she wouldn't ever regain olfactory senses again but her and her husband Ignazio didn't believe that. He was on a mission to find a cure which lead to a diet based upon raw and alkaline foods. Sure enough the diet worked and they wowed the doctors. Melissa's healing led her and her husband to Tastymakes! They also have the cutest taste tester, their daughter Sofia!  It's so cool how her and I have the same birthday!  Tasty facts: Certified organic Vegan Made with raw and sprouted ingredients  Gluten free Interesting raw facts: Did you know that when you eat healthy raw foods you will have no ups o

Detour Smart bars cranberry flax review!

Image
I recently did a review on the new Bars from Detour Smart called Smart Bars not long ago for their apple cinnamon and blueberry and loved them so much! You can find my review here for the  Blueberry and apple cinnamon  smart bars! I found myself snacking on them after my workouts being that it's packed with whey protein. They are great for on the go snacking, breakfast or as a post workout snack!  They are made with organic oats and certified gluten free! Another plus is they offer a great amount of fiber and they naturally sweeten them using all natural ingredients and no artificial anything!  They are packed with protein and chunks of fruit baked to perfection in every bar, best part it has a yogurt drizzle right on top! I was sent their Cranberry Flax bars just recently to try out for review, and it couldn't wait to bite into them! To me it was sweet and tasted just like a cranberry muffin but better being that it's got the yogurt drizzle on top!

Wtrmlnwtr review!

Image
An all time favorite fruit that I love during the summer is watermelon it's so light and refreshing and works great in so many recipes, or even as is biting into a big slice! Have you ever been told when you were younger that if you swallow watermelon seeds you will end up growing a watermelon in your tummy?! Well don't worry it's not true.  There's something about the taste of a juicy watermelon that I love I guess it's because it reminds me of summertime and everything that goes along with it like those hot summer days at the beach sipping on a nice cold drink to quench your thirst. Or having a contest with your friends to see who could spit their watermelon seeds out the farthest, ah summer. Almost that time again! I happened upon Wtrmlnwtr online one day and thought wait whatttt?! Wtrmlnwtr I've got to try this!  I was sent their Wtrmlnwtr for review and couldn't wait to try them!  Fleshy Wtrmlnwtr experience: Seriously it's lik

Bakemmm bagels review!

Image
Founder of Bakemmm bagels Janet Dob helped her grandmother in the kitchen as a child whipping up all kinds of artisanal breads. She saw it all and learned quickly how to knead, punch and form the dough before it was handed off into the oven to be baked to perfection. She loved baking so much so that in 1994 in her own bake shop she came up with a bagel recipe that could be baked at your own home in the oven without the mess of dough and flour tossed all over the place! From there bakemmm bagels was born!  Word got out about her delicious bagels and  Bakemmm bagels expanded and was soon on shelves for you to enjoy at home! You can pop them into your toaster oven or into the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown! They are tender and so delicious no matter which way you cook them I've tried them both ways and loved them!   Bakemmm bagels are: All natural and organic  Stays fresher longer Free of GMOs  No cholesterol  No saturated fat
