Barilla Gluten Free Bzz Campaign
It all began in 1877 by an Italian family who started their own business which has now gone international in more than 100 countries.
Barilla pasta and their ready to use sauces are popular in continental Europe where in Italy it's bakery products and in Scandinavia it's crispbread.
Growing up as a kid I loved pasta it was a meal that was easy to whip up in no time at all with crisp vegetables, bubbly cheese and red sauce simmered to perfection with just the right amount of spices for flavor served along side meatballs , sausage or even chicken for one amazing dinner that is sure to please any crowd.
Since I've been diagnosed with Hypothyroid I recently went Gluten Free and pretty much eliminated everything that contains gluten from breads to pasta which I love especially when served along side succulent meats like chicken, sausage and meatballs !
It's been an adjustment I had to get used to especially at parties and or restaurants, but now I can enjoy the dishes I've missed so thanks to Barilla for going Gluten Free so I don't have to sacrifice taste!
I'm a Bzzagent and on the Barilla Gluten Free Bzz Campaign and was provided with some of their pastas to try out for review and believe me when I tell you that I couldn't wait to cook up all sorts of hearty dishes from salads, to soups and so much more!

Spaghetti:
Growing up as a kid I had a love for Spaghetti and meatballs ! Who doesn't love spaghetti and meatballs ? I had a blast twirling it on the end of the fork it offered the perfect spaghetti to meat ball ratio with zesty red sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for flavor!
Whenever I think of Spaghetti and meatballs I think about the scene from the Disney Movie Lady and The Tramp and who wouldn't ? It's so adorable !
Elbows:My nephew's all time favorite pasta dish is pasta Fagioli ever since he was a kid that's what he'd get off the menu at Olive Garden and as a special treat my mom would make it just for him. So that's what I did made his favorite! I can totally see why he loves this dish so much it offers the perfect amount of spice, with zesty garlic that balances out the bitterness of the tomato sauce with a ever so slight sweetness to it and the beans add great texture! Plus it's simple to make and requires very few ingredients that don't break the bank!
The aroma from the tomato sauce as it simmered on the stove made my mouth water along with the zesty garlic and spices !
Pasta Fagioli ready to be served get it while it's hot!
Rotini :
With the Rotini pasta I whipped up a simple macaroni salad to serve alongside a burger in the salad I added some chopped carrots, olives, red peppers to add a bit of sweetness, hard boiled eggs and topped it off with zesty ranch dressing ! I loved that this pasta dish was simple to make it required few ingredients and is perfect for any side and is a great dish to bring to any party!
You are going to want to serve this pasta salad at your next gathering it's simple to make and requires few ingredients that guests will rave about!
Look at that yummy pasta salad with crisp bright colored vegetables !

Each and every dish that was prepared was unique in their own special way that provided not only great chew but taste as well with the right amount of spices in Pasta Fagioli , or the simple pasta salad that paired ever so perfectly with a classic burger and even spaghetti and meatballs for a traditional family dinner served with salad and bread sticks that made dinner more delicious !
