Pinchme Sample: Michel Et Augustin Square Cookies

This just in! The butter cookies have touched down in New York!

It all began with Founder Michel and friend Augustin the vanillaaddict in the eighth grade which created their friendship.

Not long after graduation Michel found himself feeling down and became a strategic consultant in Paris while Augustin co-founded a company which still exists to this day.

Augustin then signed up for pastry courses offered by the city of Paris and later got his certification.

After six years Michel and Augustin were together again and took on the streets of Paris to see the city's 1,263 bakeries.

They sampled 1,432 baguettes and 432 pains au chocolat which they wrote a guide to the best bakeries in Paris!

In September of 2004 Michel and Augustin traded in suits and ties for chef's hats and aprons and that is how Michel Et Augustin cookie squares was born!

They were desperate to put not only color but pep back into our grocery store step with their tasty cookie creations and to make us smile.

Michel and Augustin created more than 300 recipes before they found the perfect recipe.

After that Michel and Augustin traveled on foot, scooter , kangaroo,  bike and pink trolley to transform the tiny but mighty butter cookie. Between 6:32 and 6:41 PM,  the very first customer was seen for the first and last time leaving Salah's shop at 24 rue Hermel.

Biting into a Michel Et Augustin cookie square will give you a knock-your-cow down experience being that they are made by hand with 100% French flour, real butter, exceptional dark chocolate with a speckle of sea salt to tantalize the tastebuds.

Did I mention they contain no preservatives ?

What makes Michel Et Augustine's cookie so unique is that their half a chocolate bar half shortbread.
