Dr. Praeger's PERFECT TURK’Y BURGER Social Nature sampling

Whether you eat a plant based diet or like to try new things you need to try out these new plant based Turk'y burgers from Dr. Praeger's .

I was vegan for quite sometime and it didn't work for me so once in awhile I sneak in plant based meat alternatives and I can't even taste the difference.

I was chosen by social nature to try out these burgers and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into them.

Here is some information about them

Vegan

  • Plant Based Protein
  • Includes 3 Veggies
  • Made with Sunflower Oil
  • Soy Free
  • Gluten Free
  • Non-GMO Project Verified

What I liked about these burgers was the fact that they were thick and juicy being perfectly flavored with just the right amount of spices making it oh so delicious.

I have tried other plant based burgers in the past and this one right here is amazing it taste just like the beyond meat burgers only spicier making it with vegetables made them slightly sweet which I liked as well plus it has the look, taste and texture like a real turkey burger .

Ingredients

Hydrated Pea Protein Blend (Water, Pea Protein), Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, Sweet Potato Puree, Butternut Squash Puree, Carrot Puree, Methyl Cellulose, Oat Fiber, Sea Salt, Fruit And Vegetable Juices (Colors), Onion Powder, Garlic Powder

I added some pea sprouts , ketchup and mustard with Violife cheddar cheese to top it off and boy was it good and the fact that it is packed with 20 grams of protein is a win win!

What I liked also was that it didn't fall apart when cooking and the directions on the box were simple .

I chose to cook the burger on the stove being that it was the quickest and easiest way to whip up dinner.

Skillet

preferred method

Preheat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Place frozen burger on pan, cover, and cook for approximately 11 minutes. Uncover, flip, and cook for an additional 10 minutes until surface is lightly browned and burger is heated through.

I also added the cheese to one side of the burger after heating it for the desired amount of time then put the lid back on making the cheese nice and melted over the top of the burger.
