Nuts N' More high protein peanut butter spreads

It all began with Peter Ferreira founder and CEO of Nuts N' More 8 years ago. He was training as a fitness enthusiast and runner where he then found himself on a highly restricted diet.

He was always passionate when it came to food but his diet and fitness training he wasn't interested when it came to eating .

He was raised in Providence Rhode Island where his family ran and owned there own bakery which made mouth watering treats.

The quality time he shared at home with loved owns made him desire the cookies, cakes, and bars that he could no longer eat which he felt deprived of the food that he enjoyed to eat.

He grew tired of drinking another protein shake or eating a protein bar which lead him to hunt for a healthier alternative in ways of getting more protein into his diet.

His way of satisfying his protein fix was eating a spoonful of nut butter when the craving for something sweet hit which still left him feeling unsatisfied.

Then he had a brilliant idea and came up with a peanut butter that was high in protein that tasted like dessert.

He then concocted recipes in his family's bakery where he came up with delicious flavors.

Friends and family raved on about how good his peanut spreads were so much so later that year was when nuts n more was released into market.

Then he wrote an email to Shark Tank and appeared on the show in 2013 where they raised money from investors Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec which helped get the word out about nuts n more making them popular.

Awhile back I had received samples of Nuts N' More and I have got to say these flavors are like no other peanut butters I've tried before!

I received samples of salted caramel, toffee crunch, and birthday cake to try out.

They were so good in fact that I totally forgot to post the review.

Salted caramel: sweet, salty, creamy, nutty and so delicious!

Birthday cake:

this one was my favorite flavor it was creamy, buttery, sweet, and everything a cake should be but in a peanut butter form! I added this one to my oatmeal and it was amazing ! I just wish I had sprinkles at the time !

Toffee crunch:

This flavor I drizzled on top of a holiday flavored popcorn that had a chocolate drizzle on it along with some milk duds that I added which made for the perfect movie time treat !

Peanut butter Flavors:

  1. Thank you for bringing this blog to our attention. It's amazing. There's no denying that the number of nut butter on store shelves is on the rise. However, what appears in the ingredients list is more important than the nut butter you buy. So go with "Seed & Shell" for the nutritious nut butter. Our pistachio nut butter is handcrafted with pistachios grown in California and contains no harmful ingredients. Keep in touch with us!
