It all began in the Spring of 2015 with founder of Grok Paleo bar Bryan Capitano and his wife.

Grok Paleo bars was created with a spark of genius between their life passions, Bryan being a food enthusiast and organic gardener since he was little only broadened his journey when he got a Master's degree in Botany. Since then he's grown his own vegetables in the comfort of his home .

Bryan's wife was born and raised on a small family farm.

Bryan and his wife both share a love for eating as much local food as possible that's close to nature.

Five years ago they made the decision to go grain-free and adapted to the paleo diet which changed their health tremendously  which lead them to creating their very own snack that was not only natural but healthy too that didn't contain any fillers, stabilizers or glucose syrups unlike other Paleo bars on the market which have protein isolates, whey and other manufactured foods that don't occur in nature.

Grok bar is designed on the principle of Paleo where ancient ancestors rummaged for local foods, having processed them only minimally.

Grok bars are a locally sourced ,  whole food bar that is made without any processed ingredients .

So who is Grok?

Grok is a caveman from a long time ago that is also a symbol of our primal past . He ate local foods that he gathered from the hills, valleys and forests of his region and he has inspired us to do the very same. So much so that Grok Paleo are the first Paleo energy bars that are sourced with local ingredients from the Pacific Northwest .

Ever since I began the Paleo diet it's been hard to find a good snack that's low in sugar and also packed with protein that doesn't contain any junk until I found Grok Paleo Bars .

Bryan himself provided me with some samples of his Grok bars to try and I couldn't wait to bite into them especially after my workouts to keep me going.

Grok Paleo Bars are available in

Almond Cranberry:

Made with almonds, cashews, clover honey, organic apple juice infused cranberries, unsweetened shredded coconut , organic vanilla extract and Himalayan pink salt

I loved the plump tart cranberries in each bite the apple juice gave them a subtle sweetness along with crunchy nuts and coconut !

Hazelnut + Chocolate :

Made with Oregon hazelnuts, Almonds, clover honey, unsweetened shredded coconut , organic raw cacao powder , organic maple syrup, organic vanilla extract and Himalayan pink salt

Reminded me of a Ferraro rocher chocolate only healthier and in bar form it was delightful with each crunchy bite with the bittersweet chocolate !

Each Grok bar was unique in their own way the Hazelnut and chocolate was sweet , crunchy and nutty where the cranberry almond was tart from the cranberries with a touch of sweetness from maple and warm vanilla along with crunchy nuts!
