Once You Go Pagel, You'll Never Go Bagel with Bedrock Bakers !
Nowadays most gluten free items on the market are loaded with processed sugar and preservatives but not Pagels they are made with all natural ingredients, free from preservatives and all about taste not cardboard like those other brands!
It all began with advocates of the Paleo lifestyle as well as parents to gluten free children that their family has been on a healthy yet clean diet for years but fell short of palatable Paleo and gluten free baked goods on the market.
That is until then on vacation they were then introduced to cassava flour and how it could make not just bread but bagels and chips .
Through trial and error and hope Pagel was born (a Paleo friendly bagel)
Not long after that friends and family fell in love with the taste and persuaded them to continue baking both Paleo and gluten free treats then Bedrock Bakers was born .

I had won a giveaway through Good Gut Feelings on Instagram for Pagels and have been dying to see what the hype was about ! I have tried Paleo bagels before and some fell apart whereas others are way too pricey .
Pagels texture is spot on it's soft and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the out when toasted.
What I loved about them is their petite size they are perfect for sandwiches or even slathered with jam, nut butter , eggs , bacon, sausage, ham, avocado or cream cheese for breakfast !
The Pagels that I received were
Everything :
Made with cassava flour, almond flour, potato starch, honey, apple cider vinegar, yeast, sea salt, sesame seeds, onion, garlic and poppy seeds
I made a turkey sandwich for dinner using the everything Pagel which I topped it with a slather of mayo, spicy brown mustard, mixed greens and smashed avocado the flavor of the onion and garlic mingled together so perfectly with the nuttiness of the sesame and poppy seeds!
Plain:
Made with cassava flour, almond flour, potato starch, honey, apple cider vinegar, yeast and sea salt
With the Plain Pagel I slathered on some Kitehill chive cream cheese a dash of trader joes everything but the bagel seasoning with a side of bacon , eggs , and fresh fruit which was the perfect Paleo breakfast I might add!
Cinnamon Raisin:
Made with cassava flour, almond flour, potato starch, organic maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, yeast, salt, organic raisins and cinnamon
The cinnamon raisin Pagel was my all time favorite and here's why biting into the soft Pagel you are greeted by sweet cinnamon and plump raisins that pop in your mouth as you chew with a slight crunch from the crust top it with nut butter, berries and coconut chips and you are in for a delightfully sweet morning breakfast !
Sesame:
Made with cassava flour, almond flour, potato starch, honey, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and sesame seeds
The other night for dinner I made a burger and took it to the next level by adding it to the sesame Pagel topped with mixed greens, avocado and spicy mustard I loved the nuttiness from the sesame seeds and the soft yet crunchy texture of the Pagel itself.
Each and every Pagel that I tried I loved they were delightful in every way with it's soft yet crispy texture when toasted to the sweetness of the raisins , the nuttiness of sesame seeds, and how the everything bagel was covered thoroughly with seeds with a hint of garlic and onion!
