Erica was more than kind enough to provide me samples of her Banana Not Bread snacks to try out and I couldn't wait to try them being that I do love banana bread! I used this banana bread recipe from Paleo Running Momma but added in Nutista's Monkey King banana peanut butter making it creamy, nutty and oh so good!

For me I'm being honest here it was love at first crunch first you get the nutty crunch of the walnuts then it's like flavor town with the sweet banana, warm cinnamon, blue agave with a speckle of sea salt! Then it hit me it tasted exactly like warm banana bread fresh from the oven, oh wait I did make banana bread and topped it off with the nuts!

So why does Erica use walnuts in her Extraordinary Snacks?

Poly Pherals : reduces the risk of heart disease

omega-3 fatty acids: improves brain health, reduces inflammation, and lowers cancer risk

mono- and Polysaturated fats: lowers risk of type 2 diabetes

Vitamin B7 (Biotin) Helps promote healthier hair and hair growth

Melatonin : Encourages better sleep and stress management

An Extraordinary deliciously fun fact for you!

Did you know that women who ate one ounce of walnuts at least 5 times a week, reduced their risk of diabetes by nearly 30% compared to women who never ate nuts?

What I love about walnuts is their versatility you can add them to salads, ice cream, smoothies, oatmeal, pancakes, even bread !

Banana Not Bread walnuts are the perfect snack to eat on the go or on top of banana bread of course!

Until next time, Have an Extraordinary Day!
