Adagio Tea is a little but lively company run and owned by family that began with mom, which made a huge impact on the company's founders with the thought that tea was crucial, and delightful tea was an essential part of good life.

They grew up consuming their mother's tea which was a unique blend of both Indian and Chinese teas that she served proudly to guests in place of coffee.

Mom took her pleasant time making her love for tea a business after all she was mom raising kids, receiving guests and cooking. When her children were grown she began brewing teas for the public and envisioned launching a tearoom .

Michael her eldest Son offered a helping hand in her research that revealed a tearoom couldn't survive on just tea alone most tearooms offer a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads even pastries surrendering them as restaurants in all but name. No one in the family thought of the idea of owning a restaurant , yet offering gourmet tea to a country that scarcely knew it was an idea they couldn't juggle.

LLya the youngest Son came up with the idea that online sales would provide the most methodical means of making mom's dream a reality.

They all agreed that providing tea nationally rather than locally was way more exhilarating !

LLya being the technical whiz that he is was getting fatigued of his job on Wall Street and Michael was up for a change after he arrived home from the frontiers of Eastern Europe.

The brothers gathered and created an online store they called Adagio which means "slow" or "at ease". The word described the tea perfectly in helping us ease our mind allowing us to unwind and relax.

Adagio Tea offers a wide variety of teas , tea ware and pantry items to help create your very own tearoom in the comfort of your own home!

Ashely over at Adagio Tea reached out to me via email to try out their tea and I have to admit I'm not much of a tea drinker but with the heat this Summer I found myself sipping on them more frequently.

Everything from the packaging to the flavor of the tea to their vibrant color was beautiful!

I chose the Orchard Iced Teas to try out and in the box included

Mango:
 made up of a citrusy Ceylon black tea, with a sweet juicy mango flavor with a nice floral aroma and a creamy dry finish.

Blood Orange:
intense vibrant color reminding me of a sun setting after a hot summer day in a glass with it's sweet orange flavor that offers a good blend of fruit juiciness and dry orange peel.

Peach Oolong:
offers the sun ripened taste of summer in a glass for a refreshingly fruity iced tea! You can steep hot or refrigerate overnight in cold water.

The sampler of Orchard Tea came with a sample of their Wild Strawberry which was refreshingly juicy and oh so delicious ! It reminded me of being a kid picking fresh strawberries from our garden! So vibrant in color !

Each Adagio Orchard tea that I tried was beautiful flavored, refreshing and sweet!
