Core Foods Bundle Giveaway!

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Core Foods protein bars which you can find the review here whey and vegan protein bars on my blog .

I have teamed up with them to host a giveaway so be sure to enter below! You will not want to miss out!

But first let me tell you about the company.

It started on Earth day the year of 2010 by Corey and Kai who felt strongly about their health so they created an organic foods company in Oakland, California.

Corey made his way around the world before then and discovered that eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is the secret to nutrition.

Core Foods is a not for profit company who is on a journey to provide a healthier world by authorizing people with nutritious foods as well as reliable sources.

Core Foods created Core Kitchen which is one of the first restaurants that serves produce only in a dedicated Gluten-Free , Vegan and Organic facility that's certified by the B Corporation.

Core Foods carries a line of  protein bars , oatmeal , tonic drinks and granola.

The Core Foods bars flavors include

  • Cinnamon Raisin (Whey)
  • Cashew Chip (Vegan)
  • Choco Lots (Whey)
  • Bananut Dream (Vegan)

Their protein bars were so good that they sent me along their tonic drinks and cacao crunch granola to try out  which I was more than happy to oblige I mean seriously how could I resist the bubbly drinks and crunchy granola?

One lucky winner will win a package of their bars along with their tonic drinks and granola!

Cacao Crunch Wholefood Granola:

made with organic gluten free oats, organic raisins, organic almonds, organic cashews, organic cacao nibs, organic cacao powder, organic coconut, organic flax, organic cinnamon, and organic ginger.

I really enjoyed this granola it offered the right amount of spices to it with plump raisins, crunchy nuts, oats, and seeds with the robust flavor of cacao. What I loved about the granola was the spices being the perfect topping to my apple pie smoothie bowl which you see here topped with raisins, fig, homemade caramel date sauce and the granola on top it was the perfect breakfast to celebrate the arrival of Fall.

I received each flavor of the Core Foods tonic drinks as well which is made with functional ingredients and no vinegar taste.

Tonic Drinks:

Hibiscus Cinnamon Date & Lemon:

Made with sparkling water, organic lemon, organic dates, organic hibiscus, and organic cinnamon. I absolutely loved this drink it was different to me being that I've never tried anything like it! When you took a sip the floral notes of Hibiscus pleasantly dances on your tongue with the subtle sweetness of dates and warmness of cinnamon and tang of lemon. I made a simple caramel sauce using dates and vanilla nut pods drizzled it on top of apple slices with coconut chips a dash of cinnamon sprinkling the granola on top being the perfect snack washing it down with the hibiscus tonic!

Turmeric Organic Carrot and Lemon:
made with sparkling water, organic oranges, organic carrots, organic lemons, and organic turmeric.

I really enjoyed this tonic drink it was sweet and juicy with a tropical feel to it from the carrot, orange, and lemon with a kick from the turmeric.

Ginger Grapefruit Mint and Lime: made with sparkling water , organic grapefruits, organic limes, organic ginger and organic peppermint.

I wasn't much of a fan of this one to me the ginger was a bit overpowering but refreshing to say the least along with the minty sensation.

Each and every Core Foods tonic drink was unique in their own way the Hibiscus cinnamon date and lemon was fruity, floral with warm cinnamon that reminded me of a Fall crisp day whereas the others were more refreshing on a hot summer day with a twist of lemon and lime! Let's not forget about the cacao crunch granola that was simply amazing in texture and flavor with the crunch of the oats, nuts, and seeds with the sweetness of coconut and warm spices.

Good luck everyone! Disclosure:
