Gopal's Health Foods Review & Recipe

It all began with Stefan Knueppel founder of Gopal's Health foods where he had a passion to share his spiritual journey that he had while in India.

It wasn't until he was back in the United States that he had taken an interest in making his way across country in an RV selling books about higher consciousness where he then learned that through food would be a better way to branch out to people.

He began in San Diego making hand crafted snack bars where he then brought them to health food shops in the area.

His handcrafted so called "spiritual snacks" were a hit and in the year of 2002 he began Gopal's Health Foods where he started a brand new line of raw and organic plant based snacks.

Gopal's health foods products are made with real raw ingredients that are certified organic, vegan, gluten free and also non GMO .

Their products include

Rawnesan
Rawma bars
Power wraps
Sprouties
Power munchies
Nut & seed butters

Coconut Butter:

Coconut butter goes great whether spread on toast, or even as a frosting it's sweet but not too sweet, creamy, nutty and purely delicious!

I made coconut sugar cookies and if they weren't delicious enough I smeared coconut butter frosting and a dusting of sprinkles!

The coconut frosting was simple and easy to make.
take about 2-3 tablespoons of the coconut butter

Add to a microwave safe bowl

Pop in the microwave for 10 seconds until creamy

Then with an electric mixer whip it until you get that rich buttery frosting !

Then grab a spoon and devour, I mean spread on cookies or cupcakes!

No seriously you'll want to lick the knife! It's that good!

You could even add a little vanilla extract or any other flavor to give it a sweeter flavor!

Rishi's Cashew Peaces:
When you first bite into a Rishi's Peaces your greeted by chewy sweet  dates with a surprising crunch from cacao nibs, and sprouted buckwheat enrobed in creamy nutty cashew butter.

I loved the sweet and chewy combination and that crunch from the cacao nibs it was a delightful little nugget of a treat !

Power Wraps:

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first in trying these wraps but I've heard that nori is good for your thyroid so I gave them a go and to my surprise they were actually good each flavor so unique and seasoned perfectly.

Here's what I had to say about each flavor.

Curry -
really liked this one it was mild, earthy and tasty

Honey Curry-

little sweet from the honey and earthy notes of curry

Texas BBQ-
It was a little sweet from the molasses with a touch of heat !

Japanese-
Had an earthy like taste to it from the spirulina along with wasabi which was surprisingly good

Mexican-
Offered just the right amount of heat

Italian-
Liked the unique blend of spices to flavor this wrap it was flavorful and delicious

Walnut Fig Rawma Bar-
The sweetness from the dates and the chewiness of the figs really compliment the crunch of the almonds and walnuts making this one delicious protein packed snack!

I loved each and every Gopal's product each was unique in their own special way and hope you will like them as much as I did so check them out online to see where Gopal's Health foods products are sold!
