Teff Ivory Porridge:

All Natural
Gluten-Free
Non-GMO

Teff is richer in protein than wheat with a great source of iron, amino acids and calcium. The ancient whole grain Teff has a slightly sweet nutty taste to it and since it's a much smaller size than other grains it's more easier to digest. Teff can be toasted, can be added to muffins and or salads for a crunchy texture or boiled with either milk or water for porridge topped with fresh fruit and more for a sweet breakfast!

Teff is ready to eat in 25 minutes when you boil 2 1/2 cups of water or milk in a saucepan, pour in the contents of the teff pouch , then slightly reduce heat to simmer, cover loosely stirring occasionally. cook approximately 15-20 minutes or till the water has been absorbed. Then turn off the heat then let sit for a total of 5minutes . Then before serving fluff with a fork.

Kaniwa Baby Quinoa:

All Natural
Gluten-Free
Non-GMO

Also known as kaniwa, quechua, canahua and baby quinoa being that it not only looks and tastes the same as regular quinoa. Kaniwa cooks up perfectly adding a slightly crunchy texture that is full of nutrients!

Boil 2 cups water of baby quinoa in a small saucepan , pour in contents from the package, reduce the heat to low, cover loosely and then simmer for about 15-20 minutes or till the water has been absorbed. Then turn off the heat and let sit for 5minutes . This crunchy grain can be enjoyed with your favorite source of protein, vegetable and spices for one amazing meal that's flavorful and delicious!

Coconut/Almond Flour English Muffin in a mug:

Mug muffin recipes are so easy to make and cleanup is a breeze plus you can make anything from cookies, cake and even bread and all you have to do is pop it into the microwave!

I whipped up an English muffin in a mug with a blend of Pereg Coconut and almond flour along with some coconut oil, an egg, and cinnamon plus baking powder give it a mix and pop into the microwave for 90 seconds.

I loved that it resembled an English muffin it was crunchy on the outside when toasted warm and fluffy on the inside with the sweetness of cinnamon.
I slathered some of my favorite nut butter on top served alongside fresh sliced strawberries and a yogurt for breakfast!

Paleo Graham Crackers:

Ever since going Paleo I have missed Graham Crackers and who wouldn't I mean they are sweet, crunchy and a childhood favorite especially during Summertime with pillowy soft toasted marshmallows and creamy chocolate sandwiched between a crispy graham cracker ! I came across a recipe for paleo Graham Crackers online and had to try them out just to see how good they tasted and if they resembled the real thing!

I used a blend of both coconut and almond flour for the recipe and to flavor them I added Blackstrap Molasses and cinnamon!

I was pleased at how wonderful they came out! At first I was skeptical but let me tell you these are amazing! They taste so much better than the store bought ones ! They were crispy with a slight chew to them, sweet, decadent and didn't taste like a cardboard box!

Graham Crackers are great no matter what you spread on them such as nut butter, jam, over yogurt, crumbled on top of a smoothie or as an ice cream sandwich !

As a kid I loved Smore's ! Maybe it was the way the cracker gave a slight crunch as you took a bite or the ooze of the marshmallow or the way that the chocolate melted .

Banana Blueberry Muffins:
I made these banana muffins with Pereg Banana Flour then mashed up a banana, added in wild clover honey for sweetness along with some fresh blueberries! These banana blueberry muffins were soft in texture with the burst of juicy blueberries, chunks of banana and sweetness from the honey making them perfect for breakfast or as a snack!

I love to cook especially when it comes to breads, muffins and sweets these Pereg Gourmet Natural Foods Flours made me think outside the box whipping up recipes I never thought I could make such as those graham crackers !

I loved trying out each and every Pereg Natural Foods product that I've received their flavors took me to new heights in experimenting with them in the kitchen in all sorts of recipes ranging from sweet to savory!
