Breakfast Sausage Bake with Crowdtap & Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners

No matter the season I love to come home to a meal that's been slaving away all day in the crock pot to me it's comforting smelling the aroma of all the spices marinated along with tender meat with hearty potatoes. Yum!

There are so many hearty recipes that you can whip up and throw into the crock pot so when you get home from work dinner is cooked and ready to serve within no time at all.

When cooking in a crock pot the possibilities are endless from soups, to chicken Parmesan, to chili, pulled pork and so much more!

Even dessert!

Mmm cake!

You know what they say with breakfast being the most important meal of the day? Well it's my all time favorite food to eat!

Like no seriously I could have breakfast for lunch and dinner too!

Don't you?

When I'm in the mood for a big breakfast that will keep me going throughout the day I usually whip up some eggs served with some avocado and a side of fresh fruit to give me a boost of protein and provide me with energy as well.

I have made my eggs in numerous ways in a mug, as a quiche, scrambled, fried, hard boiled you name it I've had it!

When I came across a recipe online for an egg casserole made in the slow cooker I knew I had to make it! It's like a quiche but made in the crock pot!

Truth is though cooking in a crock pot can be a pain splattered spaghetti sauce all over the place and forget about the cleanup all that scrubbing that comes with it!

When I first heard about Reynold's Slow cooker liners awhile back I have to admit at first I was skeptical.

Let me tell you these things are a lifesaver!

I was provided with my very own Reynold's Slow Cooker liners from Crowdtap and put them to the test and I was blown away at how easy it was to thrown in the crock pot, add in said ingredients, set the timer on and let it do it's magic until the long awaited clean up time which to my surprise was a pinch !

I made a delicious and flavorful breakfast casserole dish in the slow cooker and I was astonished when I took the liner out of the crock pot !

There was nothing inside of the bowl of the crock pot!

It was completely mess free and was much easier to clean because the food stays inside of the liner and doesn't splatter everywhere when the lid is off of your crock pot!

To save time chop ingredients the night before

Ingredients:
11 eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
4 sausage links (I used Alfresco chicken apple sausage)
One whole onion
yellow
orange peppers
salt and pepper to taste

prepare your slow cooker by putting your liner in

Set your slow cooker on high

Heat a skillet on your stove

Add chopped onions, sausage or whichever meat you prefer

Cook until the sausage has turned golden brown and the onions are tender

Then add your meat and onions to the slow cooker

In a large bowl crack your eggs add your milk, salt and pepper and give it a whisk

Then carefully pour the egg mixture and peppers into the slow cooker

You could add a sprinkle of cheese as well to give it more of a creaminess to your eggs!

Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook for 2 hours on high !

Serve when hot and enjoy!
