Live in Full Blume with Blume Honey Water!

It all started with beverage specialist Michele Meloy Burchfield when sports coach Joe Ross created a natural elixir to hydrate his athletes by combining equal parts water and honey.

Michele was interested in the idea and intuitively knew that there was a way to make honey water a lot more frolicsome for the palate and brought it to close friend and globally recognized brand strategist Carla Frank.

The pair researched honey and it's benefits and the glorious bees that produce it for over two years.

Honey and water is not only great for hydration purposes but it's energizing as well so much so in fact that the first Olympics athletes used it to fuel their obsolete .

Michele and Carla's devotion soon sprung into Blume Honey Water, which is a line of naturally energizing, tastefully hydrating waters that satisfy the palate all while building awareness around bee sustainability.

Blume water is the sweetest way to savor life!

Blume Honey water is 100% bee friendly

Did you know that honey supplies two stages of energy?

It's true it begins with your body absorbing the honey's glucose for immediate invigoration

second the slow-absorbing fructose creates smooth yet sustainable energy

What is the difference between honey and sugar?

When it comes to honey and sugar they both contain fructose but during the manufacturing of sugar, the organic acids, protein, nitrogen elements, enzymes and vitamins in the cane sugar are demolished, whereas with honey it's a natural sweetener which is subjected to only minimal heating maintains all of it's beneficial properties. Honey has unique beneficial antimicrobial properties that are not found in table sugar.

Still not sure of the honey and sugar debate?

Only a small amount of honey is required for sweetening than processed sugar plus it's absorbed slowly into the bloodstream not to mention it has nutrients where processed sugar doesn't.

What types of honey are there?

Spring: the thinnest in consistency and lightest in color, being the most flavorful with it's floral tones.

Summer: light amber in color with a medium consistency. taste is rich and slightly acidic and floral in nose.

Fall: Dark amber to molasses in color with a thick consistency the taste can be pungent as molasses even burnt marshmallow.

Blume Honey Water Flavors

  • Vanilla Citrus
  • Wild Blueberry
  • Ginger Zest
Carla herself provided me with a case of Blume Honey Waters to taste and I couldn't wait to hydrate with them being that it's been getting hot out here lately in Rhode Island.

Vanilla Citrus:

made with water, honey, natural flavors (vanilla, grapefruit, wild orange, citrus), and lemon juice.

Think creamsicle on a hot summer day with a refreshing grape fruit twist with creamy vanilla undertones but in liquid form! The Vanilla Citrus Blume Honey Water was my favorite it was sweet, smooth, and oh so refreshing it was like an ice cream treat without all the calories !

Wild Blueberry:

made with water, honey, dried blueberries, natural flavors, (rosemary, black peppercorn, and grapefruit)

Have you ever taken a walk and smelled the pungent aroma of grapes only to look up and find plump wild berries!? This water reminded me of just that the blueberries gave it a tart like flavor paired with sweet honey along with fresh herbs.

Ginger Zest:

made with ginger infused water, honey, fresh ginger juice, lemon juice, and natural flavors.

I liked the ginger in the Blume Honey Water it was unique being both tart and sweet with a kick to it.

I loved each and every flavor of Blume Honey Water they were unique, refreshing and a great way to keep hydrated on a hot Spring day!
