Megpie's All-Natural Artisan Tarts !


It all began with Founders of Megpie's Meghan and Paul when they started a bake sale on their Brooklyn stoop each week that grabbed the attention of busy commuters while on the way to the subway.

Meghan and Paul concocted a pie that could fit into the palm of you're hand with a buttery flaky crust that doesn't crumble so there's no mess! 

Not long after that MegPie's All-Natural Artisan Tarts was born making their debut in 2012 at Smorgasburg in New York City.

Megpie's are filled with specialty jam from Anarchy in a Jar that is then topped with radiant icing, making them popular by demand!

Megpie's were so popular in fact that local cafes and shops were inquisitive so Meghan and Paul delivered their tarts by bicycle as they made the commute to their daily jobs.

What took them four years to increase their reach throughout the New York region, in 2016 they went nationally!

Megpie's are to this day available in numerous specialty shops and cafes in Brooklyn and Manhattan where their journey began but can now be found in Starbucks locations throughout the USA and Canada!

Even though the days of stoop bake sales and bike deliveries are in the past Meghan and Paul continue to work with the same devotion that got them started!

Megpie's are pockets of joy that are the perfect grab and go snack that pairs well with coffee, for breakfast, or as an afternoon treat!

How to eat Megpie's 


  • Can be eaten right away or within 10 days at room temperature
  • Can be frozen and enjoyed at a later date
  • For breakfast or afternoon treat
  • Can be warmed in a microwave or toaster oven
Having a Megpie for dessert or after lunch treat but it's frozen?

Not to worry pop it into the toaster oven for 1 minute or microwave it for 10-20 seconds but never in a top loading toaster.

Megpie's will also defrost in time for lunch when taken to school, or work (keep lunch chilled)

Ever since I was a little girl my all time favorite way to start the day was with Poptart's and a nice cold glass of milk to wash it all down. To me there was nothing better than the warm filling on the inside and flaky crust on the out with it's vibrant icing.

Just recently I won a sampler pack of Megpie's through Instagram and had the perfect person in mind to savor them.

Chocolate:
Tasted like a S more's with it's gooey fudge like center and flaky crust on the out

Cinnamon Brown Sugar:
Can't help but feel all warm inside when you take a bite of this one you are greeted by the most flaky yet buttery delicate crust on the out with warm cinnamon on the inside with sweet brown sugar.

Strawberry: Refreshingly sweet with it's strawberry jam filling and flaky crust.

Mixed Berry: think of a mixed berry crumble topped with ice cream, you will thank me later!

Blueberry: Tart and sweet with it's flaky crust reminds me of a freshly baked blueberry pie straight from the oven !

Caramel Apple:

Reminds me of a caramel apple you know the kind you get at the circus only without the stick and in the shape of a pie with colorful icing that fits in the palm of your'e hand!
