Nooodle all natural soups review!

Terri Rogers founder of Nooodle happened upon shirataki noodles in 2009 and thought how can a noodle contain no gluten, net carbs or calories? How could we Americans not have caught on that the Japanese culture have been consuming these noodles all along? She then came up with her own invention of noodles without the guilt! So she then whipped up recipes that are gluten free low in net carbs but still taste great! She would serve them to customers and they raved about them, with her own american flair to them rather than the shiitake version of the noodles. Then Nooodle company was born!

This winter has been brutal what with the cold and all, I love to warm up with a nice hot cup of soup it warms me right up and it's delicious and healthy as well. So what's your favorite soup? What do you like to pair with it? Sometimes I shred up some cheese or toss in a few crackers and it makes for a great lunch! When I came across Nooodle all natural soups I was quite curious about their products because one it's all natural and two it contains no calories what so ever! Can you believe that?! Here is why it contains no calories in the soup, it's made of a total of 97% water and only 3%  Glucomannan fiber which means it's a water soluble fiber. Did you know that it's derived from the Asian Konjac plant. It has many health benefits as well which I will explain them all for you!

Healthy benefits of Nooodle soups:

Zero calories-
glucomannan in NoOodle contributes no calories, when consumed as part of a meal reduces the net caloric content of the meal.  The calories come from what you would put on or in the nooodles.

Delays hunger-lengthens the feeling of hunger making you feel fuller longer.

Prebiotic activity-
serves as food for bacteria in the colon which helps enhance immunity.  Foods that promote the growth of healthy bacteria have innumerable health benefits for people of all ages and genders.

Anti inflammatory activity-
still being investigated, the positive effect of glucomannan on skin inflammation is well known among its users.  For centuries NoOodle like products have been part of Eastern traditional medicine.

Cholesterol reducing agent-
the glucomannan in NoOodle, by virtue of its viscosity, traps the cholesterol from foods and also the cholesterol released by the body and prevents it from being re-absorbed.  A meal containing NoOodle in addition to flushing out cholesterol from the GI tract will also contribute to reducing cholesterol in the blood cholesterol.  Cholesterol reduction is further enhanced when glucomannan is combined with other cholesterol reducing agents such as plant sterols and chitosan.

Lowers calorie uptake-
increases the viscosity of the gastro-intestinal content and reduces rate of food (calories, fat, cholesterol, sugar) absorption in the small intestine.  The net effect of consuming a meal with NoOodle is that one absorbs less calories from the other foods eaten with i

Promotes satiety-
Made up of water, so when you have the soup it fills you up making you feel satisfied!

Modulates glucose spikes-
reduces the rate of glucose absorption in the small intestine and prevents blood glucose from spiking (clinically proven to be more effective than xanthan gum and psyllium).  Stirring in NoOodles into ice cream and parfaits helps one enjoy treats with less absorption of sugar.

Modulates insulin surges-
Slows the glucose uptake in the small intestine, reduces the body’s need for insulin.

Laxative/regularity effect-
dietary fiber and prevents constipation by increasing bulk in the colon without the discomfort associated with most other dietary fibers.

I was sent Nooodle soups for review and couldn't wait to give them a try!

Talk about healthy soups! I've tried many soups before and some I didn't like because they gave the taste of the can and that can really make or break the taste of the soup. So when I saw that these soups came in boxed form I knew I had to try them! They don't have any funky cardboard taste at all they are pure heaven! It tastes as though you slaved all day in the kitchen cooking homemade soup that's how good these soups are!!

Chicken Nooodle soup:

I grew up on chicken noodle soup as a kid it was an all time favorite when it was really cold outside! I'm so glad I got to try this soup because it brought me back to my childhood where I'm playing in the snow and then come in for lunch for a nice steaming hot cup of chicken noodle! Went along great with a side salad with organic tomatoes, avacado and a hard boiled egg! Simply delicious!

Tomato and risotto:

One of my other favorite soups is tomato! It goes along great with grilled cheese sandwiches! Ripened tomatoes along with creamy risotto in this wonderful soup !

Chicken infused angel hair nooodle:

So good and you can even add vegetables to it as a stir fry dish!

I absolutely loved these soups, they were filling, delicious and completely guilt free! Check them out online!
